When I was a kid, I got a migraine every single goddamn time I went to the dentist. They were excruciating, and because I was eight and didn't know what the hell was happening to me, I couldn't tell anyone what was wrong. I later learned that my dentist was found guilty of sexually assaulting his patients. I don't remember anything, but mainly I remember horrific pain and bright light. GROSS.
For obvious reasons, once I had my wisdom teeth out at age 23, I stopped going to the dentist. It's been like ten years. I have no insurance. I'm pretty sure (because I can see it) that I have a cavity in one of my back molars.
I also have have this unbelievable pain in one ear (same side) that feels like someone jamming a knitting needle directly into my ear drum. It gets better if I take a decongestant, or if our pollen count drops. So this earache might be related to the tooth that's rotting out of my head, or it might be allergies.
Goddamn it. Time for Prompt Care, a credit card, and searching for a cheap dentist.
Here ends my tale of woe.
